Steve and Corinne welcome you to an area of outstanding beauty, where
your comfort is of paramount importance to us.
This beautiful property is steeped in history, this XIXth century farm has undergone major renovation to a very high standard, located in the heart of the Bocage Vendéen in 'Le pays des Deux Lay' in Chantonnay.
La Bourinne offers spacious accommodation to sleep 4-6 people with views onto open countryside.
Lovely heated swimming pool and games room.
A 3 bedroomed gite, La Longere is on the same complex, also Bed and Breakfast rooms.

This Gite is on two levels and is of (approx) 1,200sqft.
The ground floor
A sitting area has a convertible settee.
A ground floor is open plan comprising lounge, dining area, an American style kitchen, a toilet and wash basin.
The kitchen is fully eauipped with dishwasher, washing machine,
fridge with freezer compartment, a ceramic hob and oven with extractor fan, microwave, toaster, pressure cooker, kettle etc..
First Floor
On the first floor the open landing leads to two bedrooms, a study, a shower room with vanity unit, a bathroom with vanity unit and heated towel rail and separate toilet.
Private terrace
The dining areas has french doors opening onto a beautiful private terrace overlooking the fields and undulating hills.
Outside
You will have the use of the 9.50m x 4.50m, heated swimming pool.
Next to the pool, the Pigeonnier has a bar, a table-football and a professional pool table, for your enjoyment. We also have a ping-pong table, a game of crocket, boules and pallet.
Pallet is a Vendeen game played on a cast iron plate where copper coins are thrown - very much of the same rule at petanque / boules! Really good fun and all the family can participate.

A Holiday tax, at a daily of 0,72€ per person, will be added to these rates from the age of 13, which is applicable from 1 May to 30 September.
La Bourrine sleeps 4 (+ 2 on convertible)
(A supplement of £55 per week will apply to an additional person, if over 4 sharing)
All bedding and bath towels are provided and you will find your beds made for your arrival.
Security deposit of 600 euros - fully refundable if no damage to property and left in a clean and tidy condition.
Water and electricity are an additional extra according to your consumption.
All cleaning agents are provided for washing machine, dishwasher and for the general upkeep of the gîte.
The gîte is to be left in the same state of cleanliness on departure, as it was on arrival. However, we do provide a cleaning service, if you wish to take that option the cost are as listed below.

Table d’hôte means sharing a meal prepared by the host, that is Corinne, to be shared by other guests around our table that you will find very is a convivial atmosphere! An evening where laughter rules, wine flows and a great time is had by all!
Evening meals ‘TABLE D’HÔTE’ are available: at 30€ per person and 15€ for children under the age of 12. Meals are shared with other guests around our table in the dining room by the fire place, or outside (depending on the season). Fresh local produce is used in the preparation of all our meals! Consisting of: starter, main course, cheese, desert, wine and coffee, all inclusive)
