Located in the Sunny south Vendee, Les Meuniers is a charming old farmhouse in the village of Pouille with parts of the property dating back over 200 years. It has been carefully restored and retains many original features such as the beautiful beamed ceilings downstairs.
The house comprises four bedrooms, two shower rooms, a large salon with open fire, and a big family kitchen with dining table.
Les Meuniers sits in its own large gardens and has a lovely full sized pool 10metres x 5 metres, which is fenced off for security. There are also large seating areas and plenty of garden furniture. the garden is very private and quiet.

ACCOMMODATION
Les Meuniers has been restored to a very good standard and is fully equipped throughout.
Downstairs is a large family kitchen diner which has lots of character and includes a full sized cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridgefreezer, etc. Washing machine and tumble drier are available on request for a small additional fee. Dining table seats 8.
The large salon has an original open fireplace and plenty of seating. TV with Satellite for English and French programmes, Radio, DVD player, Video, CD Player.
Upstairs there are 2 shower rooms and 2 x Double bedrooms, one Twin bedroom and the 4th bedroom has bunk beds.
Bed linen is provided but you should bring your own towels and beach towels.

Security Deposit of £150 which is fully refundable if no damage to property or breakages.
Saturday changeover day - flexible out of main season.

LOCATION
Les Meuniers is located in a quiet road in the village of Pouille, with only a few other houses around. Traffic is very infrequent.The surronding area is very safe for children, with fields and farm tracks around the village that are good for walking and riding bikes etc.
Located in the South Vendee, Pouille is a small village with 2 very good restaurants (1 is 2 minute walk away and the other is 6 minutes walk)., boulangerie (2 minutes walk) and bar tabac (5 minutes walk). It is a 10 minute drive from the busy market town of Fontenay le Comte with its shops, renaissance buildings and large supermarkets.
Pouille is located close to the Mervent forest with its walking, boating, horse riding, cycling facilities, childrens play park and Zoo. It is also a short drive from the Marais with ots extensive canals and waterways.
The beautiful Atlantic beaches of the French West coast are just over half an hours drive away.
The historic city of La Rochelle with its lovely harbour is well worth a visit and is just over half an hours drive.
There are many tourist attractions to suit people of all ages and preferences - also many wine tasting places!!
The village is easy to reach from the main A84 motorway.
