Les Moullieres is a converted barn set in tranquil enclave with private enclosed gardens, surrounded by peaceful woodland. Our delightful property, with its PRIVATE HEATED* POOL and woodland, can be seen to the upper left of the wing tip in the aerial photo (below). All facilities are for the exclusive use of our guests. Experience rural bliss within easy reach of a full range of facilities and touristic opportunities.

The property offers new well equipped kitchen with oven+hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and automatic washing machine.

Full size snooker table and pool table
A lockable staircase leads down from the sejour to this area. It can also be accessed from the pool side of the barn.
The fenced pool is 10m x 5m; 1m to 2m deep. *This will be HEATED from April 2008. Situated in the large private rear garden of the property, it is accessed by just one gate. On the house side, the separate BBQ area near the gate provides a view down to the pool for the chef; the top patio also overlooks the pool. The far end of the pool is decked. Clear laminated panels provide a raised barrier to separate the pool area from the lower part of the garden; views from here extend towards woodland and a small lake. The latter and the walled natural woodland garden are reached via a private lane alongside the back of the house and barn.

LOCATION
Les Moullieres is located less than an hour from La Rochelle airport, just over an hour from Nantes International and less than 3 hours from Bordeaux, Limoges or Poitiers. The area is only three hours drive from the port of St. Malo, 4 hours from Caen/Ouistream or 4½ from Cherbourg, 5 from Le Havre, 6½ from Boulogne, 7 from Calais EXCELLENT DISCOUNTED FERRY PRICES. It is close to the west coast of France; popular beaches such as La Faute sur Mer, Tranche sur Mer 40km. Picturesque La Rochelle is 50km away; this historical town with its wide choice of restaurants also has a superb marina and an amazing aquarium.

L’HERMENAULT, less than 2 km from the house, has a small supermarket, boulangerie, Post Office, banks, tabac, chemist shop (English spoken); doctors and dentist, public swimming pool, sports hall and tennis courts. The area around the prothe perty is level and ideal for walking and cycling. Cycles can be hired at nearby Pouille. Popular supermarkets Le Clerc and HyperU and a wide range of interesting shops and bars are to be found in the historic town of FONTENAY-LE-COMTE, just 12 km away. Discover gourmet restaurants, visit the Chateau and museums, browse at the Saturday market, sit and relax at a pavement cafe; whether studying the architecture or just walking along the banks of the river Vendee, the ambience of the town is totally French. It also has a new indoor swimming pool and a go karting facility.
