Maison de Ferme comprises a beautifully restored stonebuilt farmhouse with 5 bedrooms and a separate 3 bedroomed beamed gite (called Le Puit)located in the lovely rural village of Le Poire Sur Velluire in the sunny south vendee. Approximately 10 minutes drive from the nearest town of Fonteney Le Comte and 20 minutes from Lucon. It is ideally situated in the Du Marius Nature Reserve.
It has a private full sized swimming pool which is fenced off for security and a large garden.

The Farmhouse - 5 bedrooms sleeps 12 (use of cot on request)
Ground Floor - Consists of a large Kitchen Diner which is fully equipped including hob, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Lovely original features include beamed ceiling.
Spacious sitting room has Open fireplace and French doors leading to patio and lovely gardens.
1 x Double bedded rooms.
1 x Twin bedded room
Shower room and wc.

1st floor - Stairs lead up to further sitting room with double sofa bed and 3 further bedrooms comprising 1 x Double bedroom, 2 x Three bedded rooms. WC and seperate shower room.
Central heating throughout.

Entertainment - Terrestrial TV Video, CD system, DVD player with selection of DVD films, board games.

Le Puit Gite - 3 bedrooms which sleep 6 people.(use of cot on request)
The gite is a cottage style accommodation with an open plan living area containing kitchen/diner which is fully equipped including cooker, microwave, fridgefreezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Seating area for relaxation - special feature of traditional open fireplace. Central Heating.
Bedrooms consist of 1 x Double, 1 x Twin room and the 3rd bedroom is a Twin bedroom located on the mezzanine floor.
WC and shower room.
Entertainment - Terrestrial TV, CD system, and board games.

Outside both properties is ample parking, BBQ's and garden furniture.
The swimming pool is 10 metres by 5 metres and is set in approx 1 acre of lovely gardens.

It is ideally situated in the Du Marius Nature Reserve and easy driving distance (approx 40 minutes drive)to the fabulous West Coast beaches such as La Tranche and Les Sables and beautiful La Rochelle Harbour.
Also available within one hour of Pay Du Fou and Futuroscope.

Local activities include cycling, fishing, horse riding, swimming, boating, canoeing amongst many others.
