Maison
de Ferme comprises a beautifully restored stonebuilt farmhouse with 5
bedrooms located in the lovely rural village of Le Poire Sur Velluire in the
sunny South Vendee. Approximately 10 minutes drive from the nearest town of
Fonteney Le Comte and 20 minutes from Lucon. It is ideally situated in the Du
Marius Nature Reserve.
It has a private full sized swimming pool which is fenced off for security and a large garden. Also with in the grounds is a seperate 3 bedroomed gite, called Le Puit, with which the swimming pool and gardens are shared.

Ground Floor - Consists of a large Kitchen Diner which is fully equipped including hob, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Lovely original features include beamed ceiling.
Spacious sitting room has Open fireplace and French doors leading to patio and lovely gardens.
2 x Double bedded rooms.
Shower room and wc.
1st floor - Stairs lead up to further sitting room with double sofa bed and 3 further bedrooms comprising 1 x Twin bedroom, 2 x Three bedded rooms. WC and seperate shower room. Play room which is very popular.
Central heating throughout.
Entertainment - Terrestrial TV Video, CD system, DVD player with selection of DVD films, board games.
OUTSIDE
Outside both properties is ample parking, BBQ's and garden furniture.
The swimming pool is 10 metres by 5 metres and is set in approx 1 acre of lovely gardens.
Adults and children also have use of bikes.

Prices
are per week. Prices include hire of bed linen.
£200 security deposit - fully refundable if no damage to property or breakages.
During the winter season customers will be charged for electricity/heating.

LOCATION
The Maison de Ferme is situated in the lovely rural village of Le Poiré-sur-Velluire. The nearest town of Fontenay Le Comte is only 10 minutes away where you will find a variety of shops, restaurants and a supermarket and only 20 minutes from Lucon.
Beautiful beaches are within an easy drive to the fabulous west coast beaches such as La Tranche, Les Sables and La Rochelle Harbour. Other popular attractions such as Pay du Fou and Futuroscope are only an hour away.
Alternatively if you want to totally relax why not stay in the local village which has a mini supermarket. You can cycle to the local bakers to collect your fresh bread and Patisseries (approx 10 minutes away), also cafe/bar and restaurant - or why don't you just put your feet up and relax by the pool with a refreshing drink and cook some succulent food on the barbeque!
Local activities include cycling, fishing, horse riding (a new Equestrian Centre has just opened 5 minutes up the road), swimming, boating, canoeing amongst many others.
Local attractions include Pay Du Fou, Futuroscope, Mervent, La Rochelle, the lovely village of Vouvant, Venice Verte etc.
St Malo - 3 hours drive
Caen - 4 hours drive
Calais - 6.5 hours drive
