The lovely property is located in the village of St Martin Des Fontaines, L'Hermenault village is just 2km away and has a small supermarket, boulangerie, pharmacy, 2 banks (24 hour cashpoints), post office, tabac, English speaking doctor and dentist etc.
St Martin des Fontaines has a bar/restaurant with a good choice of meals and a takeaway pizza - only 10 minutes walk away.
The nearest town is Fontenay le Comte and is approx 15 minutes drive away offering a variety of hypermarkets, restaurants and cafes etc. A lovely renaissance town which must be seen.
The property has an excellent location, with the beautiful city of La Rochelle and the exclusive island of Ile de Re being only 45 minute drive away. Beaches also approx 40 minute drive.
There is plenty to do in the area whether your interests are water sports, walking, cycling, horse riding, visiting museums, tourist attractions, wine tasting the list goes on and on. Whatever your age and interests the Vendee has something to offer everybody.
