I

per week booked. I understand the balance is to
be paid, in full, not less than 12 weeks before the
commencement of the rental. I confirm that I am over
the age of 18, I have read, understood and agree to the booking conditions
and await your confirmation of booking and invoice
showing the balance of payment. It is recommended
that a seperate Travel Insurance with cancellation cover is taken
out. In the unfortunate event of you having
to cancel this should enable you to claim non refundable
monies.

Booking
Conditions
1) The property of The Windmill is offered for
holiday rental subject to confirmation by S Herbert ("the owner") to the renter
("the
client").
2) To
reserve the property the client must complete the booking form and return it,
together with the initial non-refundable deposit
(£100 per week booked).
Following receipt of the completed booking form and the deposit, the owner, will
send a confirmation
invoice. This
is the formal acceptance of the booking.
3) The balance
of the rental, together with the security deposit (see clause 4) is payable not
less than 12 weeks prior to the
commencement
of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the
owner reserves the right to give notice, in
writing, that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within 12
weeks of the start of the rental period require payment
in full at the time of booking.
4) A
refundable security deposit of £100 is required in case of, for example, damage
to the property or its contents.
However, sum reserved by this clause shall not limit Client's liability to
the owner. The Owner will account to the Client for
the security deposit and refund any balance due within the
two weeks after rental period.
5) Subject to Clauses 2
and 3 above, in event of a non-insurable cancellation, refunds of balance
amounts paid will be made if
the Owner is
able to re-let the Property. Any expenses or losses incurred in doing so
will be deducted from refundable amount
(booking deposit element is not refundable). The Client is strongly
advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance policy
(including cancellation cover) and have full cover for
party's personal belongings, public liability etc. Since these are
not
covered by the Owners insurance. It
is recommended that all travellers should apply for and carry an EHIC
(European
Health Insurance card). This
recently replaced the E111. Apply online:-

6) The
rental periods shall commence at 14:30 on the first day and finish at 09:30 on
the last day. The Owner shall not be
obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the client shall
not be entitled to remain in occupation after the
time stated.
7) The maximum number
of people to reside in the property must not exceed the amount advertised unless
the Owner has given
written
permission.
8) The Client agrees to be a considerate
tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy
condition
at the end of the rental
period. the owner reserves the right to make a retention from the security
deposit to cover any damage
or additional
cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable
condition.
9) The client shall report to the Owner,
without delay, any defects or breakdown in equipment's, plant, machinery or
appliance
in the property, so that
arrangements for repair or replacement can be made as soon as
possible.
10) The Owner shall not be liable to the
Client...for the temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services
to the
property nor in respect of any
equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the property, garden, accommodation
or
swimming pool.... for the loss,
damage or injury which is as a result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war,
strikes or other
matters beyond the
Owners control. The Owners liability to the client will not exceed the
amount paid to the Owner for the
rental period.
11) The client agrees not to act in a way that
would cause disturbance to those resident in the other
dwellings.
