Villa St Martin is a large 5 bedroomed house on the edge of a peaceful hamlet, ST MARTIN DES FONTAINES.
The property is set in 3/4 acre of garden and has a private HEATED swimming pool.
It is set in the South Vendee and is surrounded by fields of sunflowers, maize and wheat, Villa St Martin is only 10 minutes drive from the historic town of FONTENAY-LE-COMTE and MERVENT, an area of forests and lakes. The area is only three hours from the port of St. Malo and close to the West Coast of France:

Villa St Martin is ideal for holiday makers who enjoy day trips to places of interest on and around the Atlantic coast, yet it is just far enough from those main tourist areas to be totally tranquil; the pattern of French rural life soon envelops holiday makers here.
The property can also be let at a lower price if up to 6 people staying at the property (by closing off the upstairs rooms, use of ground floor only) - see prices below
The house has five large bedrooms:
Double bedroom 1(ground floor) Super King size bed which can be converted to 2 singles if preferred
Double bedroom 2 [ first floor]
Large bedroom 3 ; 4 singles
Double bedroom 4 with en-suite facilities
Bedroom 5; 1 double and 1 single
plus cots; full size and travel [ can be located to suit needs] + high chairs on request
bed settee in the lounge
Please note: Villa St Martin offers versatile accommodation but is not possible for more than 12 people plus babies
The fitted kitchen is very well equipped; it has a brand new Range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge freezer. A wide archway separates it from the dining area. Dining area seats 12+. Lounge has comfortable seating, Satellite (40" LCD) TV, DVD, Videos, Books and games.
There is a very large utility room, containing a sink, an automatic washing machine as well as an additional fridge-freezer.
There are two bathrooms, [plus the ensuite], both with washbasin, toilet and shower; one of these being on the ground floor. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.
There is a large pool table room and an adjoining table tennis room indoors.
Outside is a large terrace area, BBQ, private heated swimming pool which is fenced off for security and plenty of garden furniture. Lovely large 3/4 of an acre garden.
The private 10m x 5m swimming pool is fenced and secluded; it is not shared or overlooked.
This will be HEATED from May to early October
The sunny three-quarters of an acre garden is enclosed; cars are parked within the gates.
Garden furniture, football goals, boules court and a barbecue are provided
NO PETS ALLOWED, NO SMOKING IN THE PROPERTY

The popular supermarkets Le Clerc and Hyper U are located in Fontenay-le-Comte (10 minute drive). Discovering gourmet restaurants, visiting the Chateau and the Saturday market or just walking along the banks of the river Vendee, the ambience of the town is totally French.
There are many places to visit and activites for all ages and preferences - something for everyone.

Had a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely house. Kids made good use of the pool! Had lots of lovely days out and visited the local bar a few times; very friendly Gorgeous meal at the Creperie at Pissotte.
All had such a great time, we hope to return next year. Family B
Once again, we had a really great holiday here. Everything we needed was in the house and it was nice to have the pool cleaned regularly. La Cousotte bar once again made us very welcome; even cooked a meal specially for the men when they returned from a football match in Niort at gone 11pm. Family M

We do not generally supply cot linen. Cots will fit in any of our bedrooms FREE HIGHCHAIRS – just let us know how many SAFETY GATES = permanent feature at the bottom of the stairs. We also have additional safety gates available on request BABY BATH and non slip bath mats– just ask for these. There is no bath at Villa St Martin but the baby bath is useful in the shower tray.
