A haven of peace and tranquillity in the rustic Vendee French village
of Thouarsais Bouildroux in the heart of the lovely Loire Valley. This modern
four bedroom villa is a spacious, airy and stylishly presented new property with
WiFi available throughout. It benefits from having a private heated swimming
pool, a large garden and an attractive veranda for alfresco dining.

The property comprises of a large open plan lounge and dining area
with French windows leading to the outdoor veranda, outdoor dining area and
swimming pool on one side & sliding doors to the back of the property on the
other side. The lounge has comfortable seating a television with
satellite free view & a DVD player. The dining table seats 8 people
.
The very well equipped kitchen has been completed to a high standard and has two electric ovens , an electric hob, a microwave & a dishwasher. A utility room leading from the kitchen houses a washer/dryer & a second sink.
Completing the downstairs is a spacious bedroom with a king size bed an en suite with a sink & shower. There is a separate toilet just beside the bedroom. The bedroom has ample wardrobe & drawer space.
Upstairs has three bedrooms and a bathroom. One has a double bed and a built in wardrobe area which leads through into the ensuite which has a sink, shower & a separate toilet. Cot and highchair available.
The second bedroom upstairs has two single beds, a wardrobe , drawers & benefits from lovely views.
The fourth bedroom is suitable for children. It has one set of bunk beds & a very comfortably sized daybed which has plenty of drawer space under & even pulls out to offer a fourth bed in this room if needed.
These two bedrooms share a bathroom which has a large corner bath and a sink unit with plenty of storage space for toiletries & cosmetics. There is also another toilet upstairs for these two bedrooms.
Outside there is space to easily accommodate at least three cars.
The large outside garden which is laid to grass affords plenty of space for children to freely run around and play while the huge Oak trees offer a welcome respite from the hot Vendee summers.
....Gently rock in the hammock under the leafy shade of these majestic trees while reading a book or just musing sweet nothings!
....Wallow in the lovely private, heated swimming pool ( 8m x 4m depth 1.2 - 1.9 m ) or relax with a drink on a sun lounger on the patio. The pool has a security cover which complies with French Law.
....Choose from one of two areas to enjoy alfresco dining – breakfast at the back and dinner on the verandah at the front . There is a mobile charcoal barbecue.

The village has a tabac and small shop from which you can order baguettes & croissants daily.
The nearest village La Caillere 2.5km away has a well stocked Spar, a boulangerie, a boucherie, a tabac, pharmacy a restaurant and hairdressers. Larger supermarkets are situated 10 minutes drive away at La Chataigneraie and most nearby towns have weekly markets selling fresh local produce. There is a wonderful seafood market at Fontenay le Comte. (20mins drive away)

Vendee Beaches- The coast of the Vendee and Poitou-Charentes is well known for its fine sandy beaches and good weather. Beaches are numerous and are well within a 60 min drive away.
The lovely Mervant and Vouvant area is within ten minutes drive.
The Mervant forest is a haven for walkers and nature lovers and interesting features, many hidden away.
A man made beach with cafe and picnic tables offers the chance to lake swim in beautiful surroundings.
The Puy du Fou - In the north of the Vendee (just 45 mins away) this theme park for young or old is based on the history of the area, displaying events through live re-enactments of the highest quality; this is absolutely fabulous and many guests visit more than once. Don’t miss this!
La Rochelle-A beautiful and historic city just 60 mins away. The port is busy with yachts and from here you can go to the quay which has excellent restaurants. The 17th century town centre has extensive shopping facilities and the aquarium is the largest in Europe and has thousands of species from all over the world.
Wine - The local wines of the Vendee are well worth testing; there are a number of vineyards locally that offer tasting and direct sale.
The region enjoys a Mediterranean climate with long hot sunny days from May to September.
There are many attractions to explore: Chateux, churches, forests, boating, horse riding, bicycling and several weekly markets. There really is something for all the family, and if you do not fancy driving just relax by the pool with a glass of local wine.
Famous attraction parks, like Le puy du fou, le Futuroscope are close to here.
An easy drive from all the major channel ports:
St. Malo (3.5 hrs)
Dieppe, Boulogne or Calais (4.5 - 6 hrs).
