Fishing is available at a river 2 - 3 minutes away with Trout, Carp etc waiting to be caught!!

Linen and towels are provided but guests must bring their own pool and beach towels.
Security deposit of £200, fully refundable if no damage to property and left in a clean and tidy condition.
Changeover day - Saturday Arrivals after 4.00pm and departures before 10.00am.

LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES
The property is close to the Mervent/Vouvant forest with activities such as rock-climbing, sailing and the pleasures of fishing and walking. There is also a zoo and children's adventure park. The area is one of great natural beauty near to the Marais Poitevin ("Green Venice") with its network of waterways, mostly the work of medieval monks, who between the 12th and 16th centuries created 140,000 kilometres of canals, half of which are still navigable. Locals get around by boat and indeed, the best way to see the beauty of this secret marshland is to take a boat trip from the ancient ruined Abbey in Maillezais or from Coulon with its wealth of waterside restaurants. Some of the Loire chateaux are within reach for a day trip and some of the Atlantic's finest beaches are within an hours drive, as is the 'Son et Lumiere' at the Chateaux de Puy du fou, Poitiers Futuroscope Leisure Park, the famous Cognac Distilleries and the beautiful port of La Rochelle.
Whatever the age and preferences, the Vendee has plenty to offer everyone.
